Pricing is generally based on materials + time. I do everything I can to find the best material pricing and keep overall costs in check. Production pieces for commercial gift shops and stores are priced a little differently due to the nature of being able to batch out products more efficiently than one-off pieces. We will always start with a budget and and work backwards to see what can be done to meet your needs.

I do not generally give a timeline for a project, but give a place in line instead. Most projects can be completed within a month or less at the moment. Those times can vary and I am happy to work with you if you have a need for a quick turn around.

Each item is different and the project itself will often determine the finish necessary. Most small items are finished using walnut oil, a beeswax and mineral oil compound, or both. Those can simply have an oil or compound reapplied to renew the finish. Larger items such as cabinets and furniture will often require a hardier finish. Generally speaking, cabinets and furniture will be finished with a hard wax oil or polyurethane. Outdoor projects are generally finished with a marine varnish to provide UV and weather protection.
